Mines, quarries and mineral deposits
There are a number of abandoned/ historical mines, mineral prospects, developing projects and operating mines and quarries throughout South Australia.

The downloadable South Australia's Resources Map, current 8 February 2008 (PDF: 1.3Mb) provides the names of each prospect and its related resource type as well as highlighting petroleum fields and geothermal regions. Higher resolution copies are available from the Customer Services Centre.
